Malaysia eVISA for Expatriates

Malaysia Expatriate eVisa information for Expatriates

The Malaysian government developed the Malaysia online visa, also known as an Electronic visa or an eVisa Malaysia, to make the process of applying for eVisa for expatriates easier.

An eVisa for Expatriates is valid for a country that needs a visa for a single journey to Malaysia for the purpose of professional employment subject to the eligibility of nationality. Upon arrival in Malaysia, the ex-pats who are eVisa holders are required to obtain their long-term pass.

To enter Malaysia, foreign nationals can apply for an eVisa through the eVisa system. Expatriates may complete the Malaysia eVisa application process online. Hence, applicants do not need to physically visit the Malaysian High Commission, the Immigration Department, or a diplomatic station.

*The eVisa for Ex-Pats only offers a Single-Entry Visa (SEV) for a single journey into Malaysia.

eVisa Single Entry Visa (SEV) is valid for 03 months from the date of issuance and a 30-day stay is permitted with no extensions allowed.
