Basically, a Malaysia eVisa for Medical is a visa that is issued through an electronic or online eVisa platform to foreign healthcare travelers or patients to enable the individual to enter and stay in Malaysia for the purpose of seeking healthcare treatment in Malaysia.

Moreover, the eVisa for healthcare travelers is a fast and convenient way to apply for a Malaysian medical visa, as it can be done entirely online and requires minimal processing time.

Thus, applicants are not required to visit the Malaysian High Commission, the Immigration Office, or a diplomatic post in person.

*The eVisa for medical only offers a Single-Entry Visa (SEV) for a single journey into Malaysia.

A maximum of two (02) adult companions are allowed in Malaysia with patients.

  • Grandfather/ Grandmother OR
  • Sibling OR
  • Maid / Nurse.

Applicants and their companions shall furnish the aforementioned proofs to the Immigration Officers at the Entry/Exit points with a Copy of the eVISA for Medical note.
