Malaysian Government has given amazing incentives for MM2H Visa. Some of the incentives are listed below -

MM2H Visa Permit

Any foreigner may purchase any number of residential property in Malaysia, subject to the minimum rates established for foreigners by the different states. They start from RM500,000 per unit for most states, from lst January 2010. Land is a state matter and it is important to check state laws before making any commitment, as the minimum purchase price is not standardised between states.

CAR PUCHASE

MM2H Visa holder gets a 10-year Social Visit Pass, with this Pass participants can enter and exit Malaysia multiple times.

• MM2H Visa holders can leave Malaysia any time they want and they can also stay in Malaysia as long as they wish
• There is no limitation on how many days in a year participants have to stay within Malaysia.
• You don’t need to worry about renewal of MM2H Visa frequently as it is required to renew after 10 years.
• MM2H Visa holders can bring their Parents in Malaysia under a long term visa programme. Participants can bring them as dependents and participants can extend their stay with new visa which only required renewing within 6 months.

Parent's Special Visa

The parent’s Special Visa is only applicable if applicant's parents are over 60-year old. As long as your MM2H Visa is valid you can renew the special 6-month social visit visa for your parents as long as you want.

Language Documentation

Malaysian Government made it easier to applicant submits their documents as all documents can be presented in English.

Customs

There are a few things to consider when MM2H Visa holders decide to bring in their various stuff in Malaysia.

MM2H Visa holder can bring their household and personal effects into Malaysia when he/she acts as an importer as the rule states that “The importer is the owner of the household effects and personal effects”. Household effects referred to the following items or goods belonging to the owner:

• Coockery and cutlery, Electrical kitchens and garden appliances such as Kettle, lawn mower, TV, radio / DVD Furniture, Beddings / curtains, Pictures / wall paintings.
• The goods you want to bring in also have to be in service for no less than 3 months and also you can’t deposed the goods within 3 months in Malaysia after the date of importation.
• Importer must declare Customs Form No. 1 (K1) according to the following tariff codes:
  • 9800.00 400 Used Personal Effects
  • 9800.00 500 Used Household Effects
• The goods you want to bring in also have to be in service for no less than 3 months and also you can’t deposed the goods within 3 months in Malaysia after the date of importation.

Duty Free Cars

Malaysian Government has given opportunities to MM2H Visa holders to bring their own own personal car and buy locally assembled-car without paying tax for a certain period of time ( See the Note section below for the conditions apply for this). Successful applicants are given exemptions on import duty and excise duty tax when they bring in their own personal car and when they purchase a locally-assembled car.The process of importation of car can begin as soon as your Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) visa is being stamped.

Note

- A personal who wishes his vehicle to be imported into Malaysia must do so within 6 months from the endorsement of the MM2H Visa.
Successful Applicants who want to buy locally-assembled car must completehis/her purchase within 12 months from the date of the endorsement of MM2H Visa.
